an online, on-demand, ongoing conference to support the shift to Common Core

The Common Core State Standards represent an unprecedented change for America's K-12 educators. To support the transition to Common Core, The Principal Center has convened a community of experts to identify these changes, outline best practices, and provide practical support to classroom teachers and those who support them.

The Smarter Online Common Core Educator Roundtable is a unique initiative, blending self-directed learning with high-quality, expert-led presentations and web-based collaboration. On the Roundtable website, you can:

  • Learn from the nation's leading experts, who share their firsthand knowledge of how to make the new standards work in practice
  • Download engaging, content-rich presentations to help you understand the standards in depth
  • Connect with other educators who are facing the same new challenges
  • Share your questions, plans, and challenges as you align your curriculum with CCSS

We currently have more than 40 hours of on-demand content, with more being added as the Roundtable continues throughout the year. Your registration includes:

  • Access to every high-impact, content-rich session with our expert presenters
  • Access to the members-only area on the SOCCER website
  • Access to future live sessions and recordings, including the entire 2013 conference
  • Access and full license to our exclusive series of K-12 math vertical articulation videos
