James Lane—Leading with Laser Focus: The Seven Steps to School Success

Dr. James Lane is Managing Director of K-16 at ETS, and has served as the CEO of PDK International and held senior leadership roles in the U.S. Department of Education. He served as Virginia’s 25th Superintendent of Public Instruction after a career as a band director and then superintendent in three districts. Dr. Lane holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University, as well as a doctorate from the University of Virginia.
